Geo-Blitz is a geography quiz game for Android and iOS, published by AYO Technology. We collect the minimum information needed to run the game. We do not sell your data. Anonymous play is supported — you can play without providing any personal information.

How we use your information
- To run the game — authenticate you, save progress, match you with other players in multiplayer sessions, and display leaderboard rankings.
- To improve the game — aggregate, anonymous analytics (game mode usage, session length, crash frequency) help us identify bugs and prioritise features.
- To serve ads (free tier) — AdMob shows ads to non-premium users. The advertising identifier is used for ad delivery and frequency capping. If you deny the ATT prompt (iOS) or decline personalised ads (EEA), only non-personalised ads are served.
- To process purchases — if you buy Geo-Blitz Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation and store your entitlement; we never see your payment details.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, each of which processes data solely on our behalf and under their own privacy policies:

Children's privacy
Geo-Blitz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads)
You can delete your account and its associated data directly in the App at any time via Settings → Delete Account — this permanently removes your profile, scores, and achievements. Full instructions are on our account-deletion page. To exercise any other right, contact us at [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days.
Advertising & consent
iOS — App Tracking Transparency
On iOS 14.5 and later, Geo-Blitz asks for your permission before accessing the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Geo-Blitz.
EEA and UK — GDPR consent
Users in the European Economic Area and UK are shown a consent form (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalised ad is served. If you decline or withdraw consent, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can update your choice at any time in the app's Settings screen.
Data security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Data at rest in Firebase is encrypted by Google. Firebase Security Rules restrict each user to reading and writing only their own profile and session data. We do not have access to your Google or Apple authentication credentials.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add new features or change data practices. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will notify you in-app.
